Study of the microstructure of thin foils and thin-film materials “through the lumen” in light and dark-field imaging modes at magnifications up to 1,300,000 times and high resolution (up to 1 nm) with high localization (up to 1 μm and less);<br />
determination of the size of dispersed particles, crystallites, cells;<br />
study of defects in the crystal structure (dislocations, packing defects, twins, grain boundaries and triple grain junctions);<br />
studying the structure of materials using replicas taken from the surface of bulk materials.
